ConVocation brings together many mystical paths and the people that follow them. We desire to teach each other and promote fellowship among esoteric traditions.
Since 1995, this 4-day event has brought together thousands of classes and rituals presented by internationally renowned speakers, published authors, and local instructors. Providing EDUCATION for all ages, ConVocation puts together a collection of classes that are geared specifically for young children to adults in hopes of finding creative ways to explore their esoteric curiosities.
ConVocation is a magnet for hundreds of folks united by their love for the COMMUNITY! Social circles thrive here, and if you have an open ear, you can catch a whole bunch of new ideas being passed around!

ConVocation Events
The Masquerade Ball
The Masquerade Ball specifically geared for those over the age of 18 will begin at roughly 9PM in the ball room accompanied by a live DJ. You do not need to be in costume to enjoy the ball! There will be a costume contest judging during the ball starting around 9:30PM. Announcement of the winners of this years Masquerade Ball will happen around 10:30 pm. All attendees must wear beach-legal attire. The contest this year will be:
Children's Masquerade Ball
The Masquerade Ball specifically geared for those under the age of 18 (red and yellow badges) will begin at 7PM in the ball room. You do not need to be in costume to enjoy the ball! There will be a costume contest at the tail end of the ball starting at 8:30PM. Announcement of the winner of this years Children's Masquerade Ball will happen around 8:45PM.
Children are welcome to attend the Masquerade Ball after 9PM, when the adult music selection will begin. Those carrying red and yellow badges are welcome to attend after 10PM as long as they are accompanied by an adult (white badges).
Children's Faery
Are you looking for a fun activity for your kids while you enjoy ConVocation? Our delightful Children's Faery, adorned in enchanting attire, guides your kids through a captivating world of storytelling, engaging games, and an abundance of delightful activities.
Drum Circle
A community drum circle and celebration for all levels of drummers and dancers! As a unique form of spiritual practice and group meditation, drum circles hold significant spiritual and cultural significance for those who practice it. Just as the drum has its circular shape, it symbolically represents wholeness, unity, and inclusivity. This serves as a powerful gateway to guidance, healing, and connection.
MEC Charity Raffle
MEC hosts a Charity Fundraising Raffle to further community building among the Pagan, esoteric, and magical communities.
If you would like to be considered for a grant, please fill out the application and return it to us (instructions on the application).
Please Note:
If your group is selected as the "Charity" in that particular year, we are agreeing to letting your group be the fundraising charity for one year at ConVocation. You are expected to supply and staff your "Tables" including all items being sold or raffled off. We will help with the timing of the event and distribution if there is anything to be handed out at ConVocation.
